Ingredients:
2 tablespoons canola oil
Cooking spray
2-3 pounds chicken wings
1 tablespoon chilli powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon honey
½ tablespoon sesame oil
2 ½ tablespoons harissa paste or to taste
½ teaspoon minced jarred garlic
1 teaspoon each rice wine vinegar, soy sauce (gluten-free if needed), and minced jarred ginger
1 tablespoon each sesame seeds and water
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 225 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
Line with aluminium foil a large rimmed baking sheet, then apply cooking spray on it.
Arrange the chicken into the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle canola oil over the chicken. Sprinkle salt and pepper, then toss until well coated.
Place the chicken inside the preheated oven and roast for about 45 minutes or until done. Make sure to flip them in the middle of the roasting time.
Add the rest of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Remove the chicken wings from the oven, then add them into the bowl with the sauce. Toss until well coated.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to make the sauce the night before. Just place it inside the fridge until ready to serve.
