I love potatoes! They are the ones the make me happy these days. Yesterday, I was browsing the internet for new ways to cook potatoes. I am so glad that I have stumbled upon this recipe. It was love at first read! I mean, when I saw all the ingredients, I knew that it was going to be good and I was right! If you are looking for a perfect dish to serve for lunch or dinner, then, you have come to the right page! This Potato Casserole is to be baked twice to perfection or else you will not experience greatness! Feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. Ingredients:
7 medium red potatoes, baked
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 cups sour cream
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
3 green onion, sliced
Directions:
Step 1: Slice into inch cubes the baked potatoes.
Step 2: Transfer half of the potatoes into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Sprinkle over with half of the salt followed by pepper, bacon, and top with half of the sour cream.
Step 4: Add half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses on top.
Step 5: Do the same layers for the remaining ingredients.
Step 6: Place inside the oven and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes, uncovered, or until the cheese has melted.
Step 7: Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
