Ingredients:
1.5 c Chicken Breast, cut into small pieces
For Marinating/Breading:
½ c Buttermilk
1 egg
¾ c All-Purpose Flour
As per need Salt
¼ c Cornstarch
½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
½ teaspoon Onion Powder
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder¼ teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1 c Panko
For Bang Bang Sauce:
½ c Mayonnaise
¼ c Sweet Chili Sauce
2 tablespoons Frank’s Hot Sauce
A pinch Salt
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
½ teaspoon Sugar
¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
Directions:
Step 1: Clean the chicken breast and pat it dry, then cut into small pieces.
Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, add all the batter ingredients. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3: Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add in enough oil to deep fry the chicken bits and allow it to become hot.
Step 5: Dip the chicken bits into the batter and stir until well coated, then coat each bit in panko.
Step 6: Add the chicken bits into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
Step 7: Place the cooked chicken bits on a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Step 8: In a medium mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the Bang Bang Sauce. Stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Put the cooked chicken bits into the sauce and toss until each bit is well coated with the sauce.
Step 10: Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
If you prefer baking it, just place the coated chicken bits on a lined baking tray and bake it inside the oven for 20 minutes at 375 degrees F. Flip the chicken and bake for another 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy!
