This awesome French Toast is what you just might need today! I will never get tired of recommending this recipe to my friends. I am so grateful to my Aunt for recommending this to me. I never would have tasted perfection. Serve this toast with scrambled eggs and your favourite cup of coffee, and you have yourself a breakfast to remember! Ingredients:
8 ounces (8 slices) of Brioche bread
4 large Eggs
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Pinch of salt
dash of cinnamon* optional
Directions:
Prepare the bread and slice it into two.
Add eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, heavy cream, salt, and sugar into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
Add canola oil and allow it to become hot.
Coat each bread slice with the egg mixture.
Place the coated bread slices into the pan and cook each side for about 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from pan onto a clean plate.
Serve with your preferred toppings.
