INGREDIENTS
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
10.75 ounces can cream of chicken soup
2 c. dry stuffing mix
1 8-ounces package of Mozzarella cheese slices
½ c. butter, melted
½ c. milk
How to make Cheesy Chicken Stuffing Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Grease a square baking dish and set aside.
Step 2: Place the milk and cream of chicken soup in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Mix well until combined.
Step 3: In the prepared baking dish, place the chicken breasts. On top, pour the chicken soup mixture. Place the cheese on top and sprinkle with the stuffing. Over the stuffing mix, pour the butter.
Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or until the chicken is completely cooked and the stuffing is golden brown.
TIPS:
For this recipe, you can try to use chicken thighs in place of chicken breasts. You can also make this with a combination of both.
