This recipe has always been a part of my life since I was a baby! This was my Grandma’s recipe. When I was about 10 years old, I learned how to make this awesome banana bread! Since then, I have been making it all the time! Now, I get to share this recipe with you as well. How awesome is that? Oh, man, you have got to bite your teeth into this delicious treat! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter or margarine-one stick
3 ripe bananas-very ripe is great
2 Eggs-beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
½ cup nuts chopped-pecans or walnuts
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add butter, sugar, and salt. Beat until well blended.
Add 3 mashed bananas and 2 eggs. Beat until well combined.
In another mixing bowl, add flour and baking soda. Whisk until well combined.
Transfer the dry into the wet ingredients, then beat until well mixed.
Add the chopped nuts and stir until well mixed.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 325 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a loaf pan.
Transfer the batter into the preheated oven and bake for an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and drizzle a bit of frosting on top.
Allow the cake to cool completely at room temperature.
