These Glazed Pecans are so good! To tell you honestly, I had such low hopes for this recipe because I thought that it was going to be one of those things you see online that looks delicious but does not justify the taste at all. I was wrong because it is awesome! I am telling you, friends, you have got to give this one a try. Feel free to add more ingredients to it if you wish. Tweak it a little and give it your take. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 egg white
4 teaspoons water
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
¾ teaspoon salt
1-pound pecan halves
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 120 degrees C or 250 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the egg and beat until creamy.
Step 4: Add water and vanilla. Beat until well blended.
Step 5: Add the cinnamon, salt, and sugar. Beat until well combined.
Step 6: Fold in the pecans and stir until well coated.
Step 7: Transfer the mixture to the lined baking sheet and spread it evenly on the bottom.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and roast for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes to prevent it from sticking.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
