Barbecue cooked in the oven is awesome! The sauce alone of this barbecue will surely make you very satisfied!
Ingredients:
3 pounds pork baby back ribs
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
¼ c brown sugar
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
BARBECUE SAUCE
2 c mild barbecue sauce (any brand)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 120 degrees C or 250 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with aluminium foil on a large baking sheet.
Step 3: Add the garlic powder, brown sugar, chilli powder, granulated onion, cumin, paprika, salt, and peppers in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Step 4: Add the ribs into the bowl of seasonings and coat each well with it.
Step 5: Apply olive oil on each rib and arrange them onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6: Cover with aluminum foil.
Step 7: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 8: Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, add the garlic powder, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Split the sauce into two small bowls.
Step 10: Remove the ribs from the oven and turn them. Baste each rib with the accumulated juices and ¼ of the mixed barbecue sauce.
Step 11: Cover the ribs and cook them inside the oven again for 30 minutes more.
Step 12: Repeat this process 1 more time after 30 minutes.
Step 13: Remove the foil cover and turn the ribs again. Cook the ribs again until fork tender.
Step 14: Serve with the sauce. Enjoy!
