If you are looking for a quick and easy dish to serve today, then you have got to give this one a try! This Taco Spaghetti Casserole is my ultimate comfort food. Aside from the superb taste, it is also very easy to make. All you need are these basic ingredients and you are good to go! Feel free to add more to it if you wish. My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Just do it and thank me later! Have a good one, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
2 package taco seasoning
2 can(s) Rotel tomatoes and chillies, 10 oz each
1 can(s) tomato paste, 6 oz.
1 pound spaghetti
6 cups water
2 cups Mexican blend shredded cheese
Directions:
Place a Dutch oven on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add ground beef and cook until brown. Discard any excess grease.
Add the taco seasoning and stir until well combined.
Add the tomato paste, Rotel, spaghetti, and 6 cups of water. Stir until just mixed.
Allow the mixture to boil.
Turn the heat down to low, then simmer for a few minutes.
Cover the pot and cook the pasta for about 15 minutes or until al dente and the water has evaporated.
Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch casserole dish.
Transfer the spaghetti into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake until the top turns golden brown.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
You can finish cooking this on the stove.
Add cheese on top and cover, then cook until the cheese has melted completely.
