Strawberry Poke Cake, I love anything with strawberry, the unique taste of it makes me ask for more. So when it was my father’s birthday, I made him this cake which reminds me of Strawberry shortcake. I wanted to share how delicious strawberry is to everyone. Also, this is a great cake that is very moist, not to mention that it is known as a gorgeous cake.

To make this amazing Strawberry Poke Cake Follow the instructions below:
Ingredients
1 pkg ( 18 ¼ ounces ) white cake
1 ¼ c water
¼ c vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 pkg ( 16 ounces ) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, thawed
2 pkg ( 3 ounces each ) strawberry gelatin
1 (12-ounce tub ) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided. (i used 1 ½ containers)
fresh strawberries, optional
Directions
Beat the cake mixture, the water, eggs, and oil in a large bowl; mix it at a low speed for 30 seconds and gradually change your speed to a medium pace for about 2 minutes.
Make sure that before you pour the mixture into two 9-in circular baking pans, you already grease and flour the pan. Bake for 25-35 minutes at 350° or insert a toothpick near the center, if the toothpick comes out clean then removed it’s cooked. Cool it for 10 minutes, and remove it from the pan.
If necessary, use a serrated knife to level the top of the cake. Pock every inch with handle of wooden spoon or tines of meat fork at ½ in., intervals.
Drain the juice from the strawberries into a 2-cup measuring cup then put the strawberries in the fridge. Add 2 cups of water to the juice, pour it in a small saucepan. Wait for it to boil, add the gelatin and stir it until it dissolved. Placed the strawberry gelatin evenly on top of the cake and chill for 30 minutes.
Add additional decorations on top, it depends on your liking.
