Oh, my! I love these Spicy Chicken Cheeseballs! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients as well if you feel like it. By the way, be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 c all-purpose baking mix Bisquick or Arrowhead Mills brands have both been tested
1-lb ground chicken
2 tbsp Tapatio Salsa Picante hot sauce
4 c sharp cheddar cheese shredded
½ c milk
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
dash of salt and pepper
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix with a stand mixer or with your hands.
Step 4: Shape small balls out of the mixture. I make mine with a diameter of 1-inch.
Step 5: Arrange the balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the colour turns golden brown. The temperature should also read about 165 degrees F.
Step 7: Remove the Chicken Cheeseballs from the oven and allow them to cool for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Make sure to leave a space between each ball on the baking sheet.
