This recipe will always have a special place in my heart! I remember my Grandma used to cook this when I was little. It’s probably the reason why I love vegetables because I enjoyed eating them when I was a kid. I am so grateful to my Grandma for all the things she taught me including this recipe! Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try, I’m telling you! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients though if you prefer. For example, you can use sausage instead of bacon. I have tried it once it was as delicious as bacon in this dish. Also, I enjoy serving this Southern Fried Cabbage over rice. Yes, do it and thank me later! Anyway, I hope you all love and appreciate this recipe today. Have a wonderful day, friends. By the way, don’t forget to share this with your loved ones as well. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 head of cabbage
6 slices of bacon
1 small onion chopped

salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the bacon and cook until brown.
Chop the cabbage and onion.
Place the bacon slices onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease. Crumble when they are warm.
In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the onions and sauté until translucent.
Add the cabbage and stir until well mixed.
Cover the skillet and simmer for a few minutes,
Add the chopped jalapenos and cook until done.
Add the crumbled bacon and stir until well mixed. Season with salt and pepper.
