Ingredients:
Dough:
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons SAF instant yeast
1 ¼ teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ c milk
1 c hot water
3 cups flour (approximately)
Garlic Butter Glaze:
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
2 tablespoons melted butter
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add in the yeast, sugar, milk, water, olive oil, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3: Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and knead the dough for about 5 minutes or until the texture becomes elastic. Allow the dough to rest for about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Cut the dough into 10 even pieces using a biscuit cutter.
Step 5: Roll about 8-inches rope out of each dough and tie each into a knot.
Step 6: Apply baking spray in a cookie sheet.
Step 7: Arrange the knots into the prepared cookie sheet and let them sit for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 8: Place the cookie sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 18 to 20 minutes or until brown.
Step 9: Remove the rolls from the oven.
Step 10: Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients for the glaze. Whisk until well combined.
Step 11: Brush each hot roll with the glaze.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
