Ingredients:
¾ c butter, softened
1 c mini chocolate chips
1 Egg, room temperature
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
2 c all-purpose flour
¾ c light brown sugar, firmly packed
½ c granulated sugar
1 c m&m’s
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Line with parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
In a mixing bowl, add baking powder, salt, flour, and baking soda. Whisk until well mixed.
In a separate mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, sugar, and butter. Beat until well blended.
Add the vanilla and egg, then beat again until well mixed.
Transfer the flour mixture and beat until well mixed.
Add the M&M’s and chocolate chips, then stir until well mixed.
Shape the dough into small balls. You should get 24 balls out of the mixture.
Arrange the balls onto the prepared cookie sheet. Make sure to leave a small space between each ball.
Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the cookies for about 10 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container. You can place them inside the freezer. They can last up to 3 months.
