Ingredients:
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp dried oregano
1 c sour cream
¾ c Parmesan cheese, freshly grated and divided
4 chicken breasts
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp salt
4 slices mozzarella cheese
Parsley, chopped, for garnish
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp garlic powder
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Add ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, oregano, sour cream, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Lay the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Make sure to leave a small space between each chicken.
Add a slice of mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast.
Add the sour cream mixture on top of everything and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese over.
Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake the chicken breasts for 1 hour.
Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
