Ingredients:
8-12 slices of bacon
2 tsp garlic, minced (about 2 cloves)
⅓ c brown sugar
4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless*
Optional:
fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground or to taste
½ tsp salt, or to taste
Directions:
Add brown sugar, minced garlic, pepper, and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Put the chicken breasts onto a clean plate. Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle ½ of the spices over the chicken breasts and rub each until well coated.
Coat each chicken breast with about 2 bacon slices.
Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts into a crockpot.
Sprinkle the rest of the spices over them, then rub each again until well coated.
Add the coated chicken into the slow cooker.
Cover the slow cooker and cook for about 3 hours on a low setting.
Remove the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts from the slow cooker, then transfer them onto a clean chopping board.
Allow them to rest for a few minutes.
Sprinkle parsley over each serving to garnish.
