Ingredients:
6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
½ c low sodium soy sauce
1-pound lean ground beef
1 box of Linguine Noodles
½ c of beef broth
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 teaspoons minced ginger
6 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 green onions, diced for garnish
Toasted Sesame Seeds for garnish
¼ c brown sugar
Directions:
Place a medium skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. (You should use a skillet with high sides.)
Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Add the garlic and ginger, then sauté for about a minute or just until aromatic. Remove any accumulated fat from the skillet.
Place a pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil. Add the noodles and a bit of salt, then cook for a few minutes until firm to bite. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add beef broth, pepper, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce. Stir everything until well blended.
Add the sauce into the skillet, then stir until well blended. Simmer everything for about 3 minutes. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the browned bits.
Add the cooked pasta into the skillet, then toss until well coated with the delicious sauce. Simmer for a few more minutes until thick. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and green onions over each serving.
Serve and enjoy!
