The sauce alone of this Honey Garlic Chicken is more than enough to satisfy you! Served over rice, this will be the best dish for your simple family dinner. You can enjoy this in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves minced garlic
⅓ c (80ml) chicken stock
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoons corn flour – (cornstarch)
⅓ c (110g) honey
½ teaspoon pepper
8 chicken thighs – (skinless and boneless)
½ teaspoon salt
To Serve:
½ teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Add the chicken thighs into a large bowl.
Sprinkle salt, cornstarch, and pepper over the chicken thighs. Toss until well coated.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken thighs into the hot skillet, then cook each side for 5 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Add butter into the skillet and allow it to melt.
Add garlic and sauté for a minute or until aromatic. Stir everything until well mixed.
In a mixing bowl, add honey, stock, rice vinegar, and light soy sauce. Stir everything until well blended.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, then toss until well coated.
Allow the mixture to boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Garnish each serving with chili flakes and freshly chopped parsley.
Serve over rice. Enjoy!
Notes:
Chicken wings and chicken breasts are great for this recipe as well.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. Reheat in the oven.
