3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ c. grated Parmesan
¾ # spaghetti noodles
1-2 c. grated cheese I used half, Colby-jack, half mozzarella
How to make Baked Spaghetti & Meatballs
Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet. Add the onions and saute over medium/low heat. Then, add the garlic and cook further until soft.
Step 2: To the skillet, add the cooked meatballs. Pour in the marinara sauce and add 1 tsp of Italian seasoning. Cook for another 20 to 30 minutes over medium/low heat.
Step 3: Following the package directions, cook the spaghetti in another large pot for 2 minutes less than al dente.
Step 4: Scoop the meatballs from the sauce using a large slotted spoon. Set aside.
Step 5: Into the marinara sauce, scoop the cooked spaghetti using a large slotted spoon. Pour in around half a cup of the pasta cooking water. Toss gently until the pasta is completely coated with sauce.
Step 6: On top of the spaghetti, add the cooked meatballs and sprinkle with grated cheese and Parmesan.
Step 7: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until hot, bubbly, and the cheese has melted.
