Ingredients:
⅛ c vegetable oil
¼ c butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1½ pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼” thick
2 15 ounces cans of green beans, drained
1 c onions, chopped
2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half
¼ c water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Wash and pat dry the creamer potatoes.
Slice the potatoes into two, then put them inside a large resealable bag.
Add red pepper flakes, oil, pepper, and seasonings inside the bag with the potatoes. Shake the bag until the potatoes are well coated.
Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the sausage and water, then cook until brown and the water is gone.
Remove the browned sausage from the pan and allow it to cool completely.
Add the cooled sausage inside the bag.
In the same pan, add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the garlic and onions, then sauté until aromatic and soft. Remove from the heat and allow them to cool.
Add the sauteed garlic and onions inside the bag. Shake the bag until well combined.
Add the green beans and shake it again until well mixed.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for a few minutes.
