Ingredients:
16 oz. Jimmy Dean Sausage 1 standard package
½ tsp Garlic Powder
2 Packages Crescent Rolls
1 Medium Onion Diced
8 oz. Cream Cheese room temperature\
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the sausage, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Add the garlic powder and onion, then sauté until soft and aromatic. Drain the sausage and allow it to cool.
Add cream cheese into the pan with the sausage mixture, then stir until well incorporated.
Split each cinnamon roll from each other, then cut each into half.
Top each prepared rill with 1 tsp of the sausage mixture. Fold and seal each side. Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
Arrange the Donkey Balls onto the prepared cookie sheet in a single layer. Make sure to leave a small space between each ball.
Place them in the preheated oven and bake for about 11 to 14 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve with dipping sauce or with maple syrup. Enjoy!
