Oh, my! Rosemary Chicken is the best dish I’ve had in the past few weeks. I’m telling you, this is a must-try!
Ingredients:
1 ¼ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp fresh rosemary leaves minced
3 tbsp butter melted
1 ¼ tsp minced garlic
¼ c chicken broth
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
lemon slices and rosemary sprigs for serving optional
cooking spray
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Season with salt and pepper the chicken breasts.
Step 3: Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 4: Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 5: Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear each side for about 3 to 5 minutes or until brown.
Step 6: Apply cooking spray on a baking dish.
Step 7: Remove pan from the heat and transfer the chicken breasts onto the prepared baking dish.
Step 8: In a small mixing bowl, add the butter, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Pour the mixture into the baking dish over the chicken breasts.
Step 10: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until done. Adjust the baking time if the chicken breasts are not yet done after 25 minutes.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and bathe the chicken breasts with the delicious sauce.
Step 12: Garnish with parsley, rosemary sprigs, and lemon slices.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
