Ingredients:
16 even-sized open cap mushrooms stem cut level
3 tbsp vegetable oil or corn oil
1 ½ stick unsalted butter, softened
3 clove garlic, chopped very fine
2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 ½ tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste
½ c bread crumbs
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.
Remove the stem of each mushroom.
Add oil in a skillet, then put it over the stove. Turn the heat to about medium.
When the oil is hot, add the mushrooms and saute for about 20 seconds or until brown.
Remove the mushrooms from the skillet onto a clean shallow roasting pan.
Meanwhile, add butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, and seasonings into a mixing bowl. Stir until combined.
Spoon the mixture over each mushroom.
Top each with breadcrumbs and gently press it.
Bake inside the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
