Ingredients:
Cake
1 (15.25 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 ounces) box instant chocolate pudding
1 (16 ounces) container sour cream
3 Eggs
⅓ c vegetable oil
½ c water
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Frosting
¼ c butter, room temperature
¼ c unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ c heavy cream
Directions:
For the Cake:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 10-inch Bundt pan and sprinkle flour.
Add all the ingredients for the cake into the bowl of the stand mixer. Beat until well mixed.
Add the chocolate chips and beat until well mixed.
Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the cake and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
For the Frosting:
Add the powdered sugar, butter, and cocoa powder into the bowl of the stand mixer. Beat until well mixed.
Add the cream and vanilla, then beat until well mixed.
Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.
Scatter chocolate chips over the frosting.
Serve and enjoy!
