Your kids will surely love these heavenly treats! This recipe will be a fun experience for you and your kids. I always let my kids help me with this because they love decorating each rice Krispie themselves. It is nice to let them apply their imagination. Anyway, I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I highly recommend you decorate these treats with your preferred designs. Have a wonderful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
¼ c butter
1 bag large marshmallows APPROXIMATELY 40 MARSHMALLOWS
6 c Rice Krispies
Red & Yellow Liquid Food Coloring
Mini Rolos
Green M&M’s
¼ c cooking oil or melted butter in a small bowl TO KEEP IT FROM STICKING TO YOUR HANDS
Directions:
Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to low.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the marshmallows and stir until melted completely and well blended with the butter.
Remove the pot from the heat, then add many drops of yellow food colouring. Stir until well blended.
Add red food colouring as well, then stir until well blended.
Add the Rice Krispies and stir until well mixed.
Coat your hands with cooking oil, then form small balls out of the mixture.
Arrange the balls onto parchment paper.
Add a Mini Roll over each ball, then gently press it.
Add a green M&M beside the Mini Roll. This will serve as the leaf.
Let the balls cool completely at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
