I have listed all the ingredients so feel free to add more to it if you prefer. Sometimes I add chilli powder for an extra kick. Try it and thank me later! Ingredients:
2 slices rye bread
2 tbsp Russian or Thousand Island dressing
¼ lb sliced turkey thinly sliced, or pastrami
2 to 3 slices Swiss cheese
1 tbsp butter softened
¼ c coleslaw
Directions:
Step 1: Brush one side of each slice of bread with butter.
Step 2: Spread the Russian dressing over the unbuttered side of the bread slices.
Step 3: Spread pastrami, Swiss cheese, or the turkey over the side with the Russian dressing.
Step 4: Drain off the liquids of the coleslaw in a colander.
Step 5: Top the cheese layer with the coleslaw.
Step 6: Place the other bread on top of the other bread with the cheese layer.
Step 7: Place a non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 8: Lay the sandwich into the hot skillet and cook until the bottom turns brown.
Step 9: Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until brown as well.
Step 10: Place the sandwich on a clean serving plate.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
