Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 ¼-pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 ¼-inch piece
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
Directions:
Place a 12-inch non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken breasts.
In a mixing bowl, add ½ tsp pepper, ¾ tsp salt, flour, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until well combined.
Sprinkle the flour mixture over the chicken breasts, then rub each until well coated.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then allow them to become hot. Move the skillet to evenly spread the oil.
