All you need is 15 minutes and you will surely have the best dish to serve today! Yes, you read it right! This Chicken Pasta is not only very easy to make but it is also very delicious! Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts cut into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
½ medium yellow onion chopped
½ bell pepper chopped
3 cloves of garlic minced
½ tsp EACH salt, pepper, & garlic powder
1 c marinara sauce
½ c mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
¼ c Parmesan cheese optional
3 c cooked pasta 1.5 cups dry pasta
Directions:
Place a medium saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add 2 cups of salted water and allow it to boil.
Add 1.5 cups of pasta and cook for about 10 minutes or until al dente.
Meanwhile, slice the chicken breasts into small pieces. Slice the bell peppers and onion as well.
Place a heavy-duty pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 1 tbsp of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the bell pepper and onion, then sauté until soft.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
Add the chicken slices, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for a few more minutes until brown.
Add the marinara sauce and stir until well blended.
Simmer everything for another 5 minutes.
Drain the pasta and transfer it to the pan. Toss until well combined.
Add the cheese and remove it from the heat. Stir until well mixed.
Place it inside the oven and broil for a few minutes until the cheese turns brown.
Sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top.
