Ingredients:
1 (15 oz) can canned pumpkin puree
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 (18.25 oz) package yellow cake mix with pudding
¼ c vegetable oil
2 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ c butter softened
4 (3 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
2 c confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour in a 9×13-inch cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, add the cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg, and cloves. Whisk until well mixed.
In another mixing bowl, add oil and cake mix. Whisk until well mixed.
Add the eggs gradually and beat every addition.
Add the pumpkin mixture and stir until well mixed.
Add the vanilla and stir until well blended.
Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and butter. Beat until well blended.
Add the confectioners’ sugar and beat until well mixed.
Add the vanilla and cinnamon, then stir until well mixed.
Pour the frosting over the cooled cake and spread it evenly.
Serve and enjoy!
