These heavenly treats never fail to impress me! Every time I have these delicious treats, it’s like the first time! I can’t describe how delicious these cupcakes are. I just know one thing. They are delicious! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients if you prefer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
cooking spray
1 (20 ounces) can crushed pineapple
1 (18.25 ounce) package pineapple cake mix (such as Duncan Hines® Pineapple Supreme)
1 tbsp confectioners’ sugar for dusting, or as needed
1 ⅓ c pineapple juice
½ c butter, melted
1 ½ c brown sugar
24 maraschino cherries
3 Eggs
⅓ c vegetable oil
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in 24-muffin cups.
Line with waxed paper a flat surface.
Add 1 tsp of melted butter to each muffin cup.
Add 1 tbsp of brown sugar to each of the prepared cups.
Add a maraschino cherry in the middle of each muffin cup.
Add 1 tbsp of crushed pineapple on top of the cherry.
In a mixing bowl, add eggs, pineapple juice, pineapple cake mix, and vegetable oil. Beat until well combined.
Transfer the batter into the prepared muffin cup and spread it evenly.
Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Sprinkle confectioners’ sugar over each cupcake.
