Ingredients:
8 oz Ribeye Steak thinly sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 green bell pepper sliced
1 yellow onion sliced
4 oz mushrooms sliced
1 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise
¼ c mayonnaise
8 ounces Provolone cheese sliced
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Add canola oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the steak and sear each side for about 2 minutes or until brown.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and toss until the steak is well coated.
Remove the steak from the skillet onto a clean plate.
In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the onion, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Sauté for a few minutes until translucent and soft.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Spread each bread with mayonnaise, then add provolone cheese on top.
Add steak and the mixed veggies over the cheese.
Place them inside the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until done.
Slice into bite-size pieces.
