Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. cream cheese
1 green pepper diced
2 tbsp butter
½ lb. small shells
½ c reserved pasta water
1 c shredded mozzarella
2 garlic cloves minced
6 slices provolone cheese
½ yellow onion diced
32 oz. beef stock + 32 oz. water
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place a pot on the stove, then pour in 32 oz. of water and beef stock. Stir until well blended. Turn the heat to high and allow it to boil.
Add the shells and cook until done. Refer to the directions provided on the package. Set aside a half cup of pasta water for later use.
Place an oven-safe skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to become hot.
Add garlic, then sauté until aromatic.
Add the onion and bell pepper, then sauté for a few minutes until soft.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Discard any excess fat.
Add the cream cheese and stir until well blended.
Add the reserved pasta water, then stir until well blended.
Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and cooked noodles. Toss until well combined.
Add provolone cheese on top of the noodles.
Transfer the skillet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle your preferred herbs on top to garnish.
Serve warm and enjoy!
