These Honey Garlic Baked Pork Chops are ready in just 30 minutes! The sauce that coats these pork chops is perfectly seasoned! This recipe is something you would want to try pretty much all the time! You are so in for a treat. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 (4 oz. each) bone-in pork chops, fat trimmed
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp no-salt ketchup
2 tbsp honey
½ tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tbsp sweet chili sauce
chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Add soy sauce, honey, ketchup, chili sauce, oregano, and garlic into a mixing bowl. Stir everything until well blended.
Add the pork chops into a large mixing bowl and add the sauce on top. Use your clean hands to toss the chicken until well coated.
Place a 12-inch oven-safe skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Place the pork chops together with the sauce into the hot skillet, then sear each side for a few minutes until brown.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then add butter and allow it to melt.
Place the skillet inside the preheated oven and cook the pork chops further for 15 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven.
Transfer the pork chops onto a clean plate.
Pour the delicious sauce on top of the pork chops and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
To Grill:
Set aside 2 tbsp of the honey-garlic sauce for later use.
Pour the rest of the sauce over the pork chops, then toss until well coated.
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Place the pork chops over the preheated grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Make sure to baste with the reserved sauce.
