I’ve tried a lot of marinade recipes, but this one will always be my favorite! The combination of all the ingredients made this recipe extra special! I use chicken thigh for this because it has enough meat and fat that makes it perfect! In less than 45 minutes, you can have the best dish for dinner! Serve it with rice, and you have yourself a meal to remember. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
6 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp kosher salt (plus more to taste)
2 tbsp lemon juice (or lime juice)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
½ tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
5 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 4 pounds)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Add garlic, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper, and salt into a large bowl. Stir everything until well blended.
Add the chicken into the bowl with the marinade, then toss until well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
Put the bowl in the fridge and allow the chicken to marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 225 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
Transfer the chicken and the marinade into a baking dish and spread it evenly. Arrange the chicken in a single layer.
Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for 30 minutes. Broil for 3 more minutes or until the chicken thighs turn brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the chicken thighs to rest at room temperature for a few minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
I highly suggest marinating the chicken overnight for the best result!
