These cookies have been such a huge hit for my kids! They love how these heavenly treats taste and look like! Baking this recipe with my kids has been a great bonding experience for us. I am sure that this will be yours too! Feel free to add more ingredients to this recipe if you prefer. You can try adding M&M’s to give it more colour! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
1 ½ cups peanut butter
3 large eggs eggs
4 ½ cups rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cups candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M’s®)
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 10×15-inch baking pan.
Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat until well mixed.
Step 4: Add the eggs and peanut butter. Beat until well mixed and creamy.
Step 5: Add the baking soda, oats, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Add the milk chocolate chips and chocolate chips. Stir until well incorporated.
Step 7: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly on the bottom.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the top turns light brown.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
