Ingredients:
RIBS:
4 lbs (2 kg) baby back pork ribs
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp chilli or Cayenne powder (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil
SAUCE:
2 c (500ml) barbecue sauce
3 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ – 1 tbsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Discard the membrane of the ribs.
Step 3: Line with foil a baking sheet.
Step 4: Arrange the ribs onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: In a small mixing bowl, add the onion powder, garlic powder, chilli, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Sprinkle the mixed seasonings over the ribs, then drizzle oil as well.
Step 7: Cover the baking sheet with foil.
Step 8: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 2 hours.
Step 9: In a small mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce. Stir until well blended.
Step 10: Take the ribs out of the oven and brush the sauce on top.
Step 11: Turn the heat up to 240 degrees C and bake the ribs for another 10 minutes or until done.
Step 12: Remove the ribs from the oven and allow them to sit at room temperature for a few minutes.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
