Ingredients:
1 c (or more if needed) Barbecue sauce of your choice
3-4 lbs. St Louis Ribs
For the Spice Rub:
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons dried oregano
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the marinade. Stir until well blended.
Rub all sides of each rib with the marinade. Allow the ribs to rest for 15 minutes or more.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Put the rack in the centre of the oven.
Wrap the ribs with foil, then place them onto a baking sheet.
Place the ribs inside the preheated oven and bake for about 2 hours or until fork-tender.
Remove from the oven and brush each rib with BBQ sauce.
Put them back inside the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
You can grill these ribs for an hour, then brush each with BBQ sauce and grill for another 15 minutes or until done.
