Ingredients:
Cake:
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ c (113g) butter, melted
1 pkg yellow cake mix
2 Eggs, room temperature
Filling:
2 Eggs
½ c (113g) butter, melted
4 c confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Add melted butter, 2 eggs, cake mix, and vanilla into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash everything until well blended.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×3-inch round cake pan.
Transfer the mixture into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the rest of the eggs, cream cheese, vanilla, and melted butter. Beat until well blended.
Add the confectioners’ sugar gradually and beat every addition until well blended.
Add the cream cheese mixture on top of the cake mixture and spread it evenly.
Put it inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until done.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
