Hello there, friends! I hope you are all doing well today. This recipe I am sharing with you today is kind of a family recipe. This was passed on to me by my grandma. I learned how to make these heavenly treats when I was about 10 years old. Now that I am an adult, I still make these cookies because they are still good! Old but gold, indeed! It is also very hassle-free because you don’t need to bake these cookies! Okay, enough with the long introduction. It is time to go to your kitchen and start prepping! As perfect as this recipe already is, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I am sure that you can do a lot to take this very simple recipe to the next level! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Don’t forget to share this with your peers as well. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 ½ c peanut butter
4 ½ c quick-cooking oats
3 c white sugar
¾ c butter
¾ c milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Place a medium saucepan on the stove, then add the milk, butter, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to boil for a minute.
Remove the pan from the stove, then add peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
Add the oats and stir until well mixed. Allow it to cool completely.
Transfer everything into a large mixing bowl.
Spoon the mixture and drop each on waxed paper.
Let the cookies rest completely at room temperature.
