Ingredients:
FOR THE BISCUIT BASE/ CRUST
5 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted)
40 pieces of Butter Cookies (approx. 335 grams)
FOR THE CHOCOLATE FILLING
½ c Unsalted Butter (softened (112 grams))
1 ½ c Fresh Cream (340 grams)
3 ¼ c Pure Milk Chocolate (500 grams)
Directions:
In the food processor, add the butter cookies and pulse until powdered. Transfer it into a mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter, then stir until well blended.
Pour the mixture into a 10-inch tarn tin and spread it evenly.
Place it in the fridge to set for about 30 minutes.
Break the milk chocolate into small portions. Add them into a mixing bowl.
Add the rest of the butter and stir until well blended.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the cream and allow it to boil. Pour the hot cream on top of the chocolate-butter mixture. Allow it to rest for a minute, then stir until well blended.
Allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
Place it in the fridge to chill overnight.
