Deviled eggs more like heaven eggs! Oh, man, this recipe for our all-time favourite dish is super legit! This is a must-try I’m telling you! Feel free to add more ingredients if you wish. Ingredients:
1 dozen large Eggs
1 tbsp yellow mustard
¼ to ⅓ c mayonnaise (reduced fat is OK)
3-4 tbsp sweet pickle cubes, drained (optional, see notes)
¼ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp black pepper
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
Sprinkle of paprika
hot sauce or sriracha
chopped fresh parsley
snipped fresh chives
capers
pimientos
a sprinkle of cayenne
caviar
cooked
crumbled bacon
an olive slice
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large pot with cold water on the stove and add the eggs.
Step 2: Turn the heat to high and allow the water to boil.
Step 3: Remove the pot from the heat and allow the eggs to sit inside for 20 more minutes.
Step 4: Drain and rinse the eggs with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Step 5: Peel each egg and slice it into two lengthwise.
Step 6: Remove the egg yolks and transfer them into a small mixing bowl.
Step 7: Arrange the egg whites on a clean plate.
Step 8: Mash the egg yolks with a fork.
Step 9: Add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl with the mashed yolks. Stir until well mixed and season with salt and pepper.
Step 10: Spoon the mixture into each of the egg whites.
Step 11: Sprinkle with the listed toppings.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
