These colourful treats are so fun to make! This is a great bonding experience with my kids. What I love the most about this recipe aside from the delicious taste, is the fact that you can use different colours to decorate your Jello balls. Ingredients:
¾ c thick cream, Fussell’s or Carnation brand (170 mL)
3-oz package red Jello
2 c unsweetened desiccated coconut, very finely grated – not shredded
Directions:
Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add the thick cream and Jello powder. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Add in 1 ½ cups of desiccated coconut and stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Form small balls out of the mixture with your hands.
Step 4: Roll each ball into the coconut until well coated.
Step 5: Prepare a baking sheet.
Step 6: Arrange the Jello balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7: Place the baking sheet inside the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use your preferred colour of Jello.
