Ingredients:
CAKE:
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups flour
¾ cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup hot coffee
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup milk
½ cup canola oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
ICING:
½ cup butter, melted (1 stick)
1 cup peanut butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
4-5 tablespoons milk
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply non-stick cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 4: In another mixing bowl, add the baking soda and hot coffee. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Transfer the coffee mixture into the flour mixture. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Add in eggs, milk, vanilla, and oil. Stir until well blended.
Step 7: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 8: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool.
Step 10: In a medium mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, melted butter, milk, and vanilla sugar. Stir until well combined.
Step 11: Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.
