A big thanks to my dear friend, Amanda, for giving me the recipe to this incredible biscuits! They are such a delight! These biscuits will surely make your snack extra special. I made these heavenly treats yesterday and I am so glad that I did because I never would have tasted perfection! Serve these cookies with cold lemonade and you have yourself the treat to remember! For extra flavour, try adding shredded cheese into the egg and milk mixture. I have not tried it but I know that it will surely make this recipe amazing. By the way, serve these biscuits warm. Ingredients:
3 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoon sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon plus ½ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon cream of tartar
¾ cup butter
1 Egg, beaten
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
Directions:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar, butter, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Step 2: In another mixing bowl, add the egg and milk. Beat until well blended.
Step 3: Transfer the egg mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until well blended.
Step 4: Sprinkle flour on a flat surface.
Step 5: Place the dough on the floured surface and knead about 10 times.
Step 6: Roll the dough to 1-inch and cut it with a 2 ½-inch cutter.
Step 7: Place the cut dough into a cookie sheet.
Step 8: Place it inside the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack at room temperature.
Step 10: Serve warm and enjoy!
