Ingredients:
1 (9 inches) prepared graham cracker crust
½ cup lemon juice
1 (14 ounces) can sweeten condensed milk
2 large eggs, separated
¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
4 tablespoons white sugar
Directions:
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, add the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk until well blended.
Step 2: Add lemon juice slowly and stir until you achieve your desired thickness. Transfer the mixture over the crust.
Step 3: In a separate mixing bowl, add the cream of tartar and egg whites. Beat until well mixed and creamy.
Step 4: Add in sugar slowly and beat until stiff peaks form.
Step 5: Spread the meringue on top of the filling and make sure to seal the sides as well.
Step 6: Place inside the 205 degrees C, preheated oven and bake for 6 minutes or until the meringue turns brown.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
