This Mac and Cheese is the way it’s supposed to be! These delicious rolls will never disappoint you at all! Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, and you have yourself treats to remember! I highly suggest serving them with buffalo sauce. Just do it and thank me later! Ready in less than an hour, these Mac & Cheese, Egg Rolls is surely a must-try! This recipe can yield up to 16 servings. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil, for frying
Freshly ground black pepper
Egg roll wrappers
1 c. shredded mozzarella
Kosher salt
1 box Mac and cheese, plus ingredients called for on the box
Buffalo sauce, for serving
1 c. shredded cheddar
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the Mac and Cheese on how to prepare it. Drain.
Add the cheeses over and stir until completely melted. Sprinkle salt and pepper to season. Let it rest for at least 10 minutes at room temperature.
Lay an egg roll wrapper onto a flat surface, turning it around to form a diamond shape. Wet the sides with a bit of water.
Spoon the Mac and cheese over the wrapper, then fold the bottom and sides. Use a bit of water to seal then. Repeat the process with the rest of the wrapper and Mac & cheese.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the egg rolls and fry them for about a minute on each side.
Move the fried egg rolls onto a clean plate line with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve right away with buffalo sauce. Enjoy!
