Ingredients:
Oil for frying
¼ c Heavy Cream
2 tablespoons Cornstarch + more for coating
300 g Potatoes
½ teaspoon Chicken Stock Powder
½ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Salt
Directions:
Slice into 8 pieces each of the potatoes.
Place a frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the potato slices and cook until they turn golden brown.
Transfer the potato slices into a large mixing bowl. Mash then until the texture becomes smooth.
Add black pepper, chicken stock powder, salt, and cornstarch. Stir everything until well blended.
Add the heavy cream and stir until well blended.
Form a ball out of the mixture.
Sprinkle flour onto a flat surface.
Lay the potato mixture onto the floured surface, then roll it into 30 cm x 15 cm thick.
Slice it into 1 cm x 15 cm pieces.
Sprinkle cornstarch on top.
Turn the heat of the pan to about 350 degrees F.
Add the potato fries, then fry for a few minutes until they turn golden brown.
Transfer the potato fries onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve right away with mayonnaise and ketchup. Enjoy!
