This recipe is very hassle-free! I mean, all you need to do is to place all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cook. So easy, right? In about 5 hours, you will have the best meal! If you think this recipe can do better, feel free to add more ingredients. By the way, my only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Ingredients:
Cooking spray
2 lbs baby potatoes, halved and quartered if large
3 c shredded Cheddar
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
8 slices bacon, cooked
¼ c sliced green onions, plus more for garnish
1 tbsp paprika
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Sour cream, drizzling
Directions:
Step 1: Line a with aluminium foil a slow cooker and apply the cooking spray.
Step 2: Put ½ of the potatoes, 1 ¼ cups of cheese, ½ of the garlic, ½ green onions, ⅓ cooked bacon, and ½ paprika into the prepared slow cooker. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Repeat this process until all the ingredients are arranged in layers.
Step 3: Cook for 5 to 6 hours over high heat until the potatoes are fork-tender. Make sure to adjust the cooking time if the potatoes are bigger.
Step 4: 20 to 30 minutes before serving, add in the bacon and the remaining cheese on top.
Step 5: Spoon on a clean plate and garnish with a drizzle of sour cream and green onions.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
