All you need for these Lazy Cake Cookies are four basic ingredients! I’m pretty sure you already have them in your household. This very easy recipe is such a delight to prepare! Ingredients:
1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter – melted (or use vegetable oil if you prefer.)
2 c chocolate chips
2 eggs – beaten
1 box yellow or white cake mix – 15-18 -ounce package
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Add butter into a heat-proof bowl, then place it inside the microwave and heat for a few minutes until melted.
Add the cake mix into the melted butter, then whisk until just combined.
Whisk in the eggs to the batter until well blended.
Add the chocolate chips, then stir until just combined and thick.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Use a spatula for this step.
Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake the batter for about 20 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cook completely at room temperature.
Slice into even squares.

Feel free to use regular M&M’s, dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, or milk chocolate for this recipe.
Feel free to use whatever pan you have.
You can add nuts as well if you want to.
Shredded coconut is a great addition to this recipe as well.
Cool completely at room temperature, then place in an airtight container before storing.
