Ingredients:
16 oz. can large biscuits
½ c sour cream
1 oz. packet taco seasoning plus water listed on the back of my homemade taco seasoning
2 lbs. ground beef browned and drained
1 medium red bell pepper halved and sliced
½ c mayonnaise
1 medium onion halved and sliced
4 oz. canned sliced Jalapeno peppers
8 oz. cheddar cheese shredded and divided
2 medium tomatoes sliced
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch glass baking dish.
Arrange the biscuits into a pan, then press them gently.
Put the pan onto a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 25 minutes or until done. Make sure to check from time to time.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
Cook the ground beef with water and taco seasoning. Transfer into a mixing bowl.
In another mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, sour cream, ½ of the onions, and ½ of the cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.
In the pan where you cooked the ground beef, add the onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
Add taco meat over the crust and spread it evenly followed by the tomatoes, sauteed veggies, Jalapeno peppers, sour cream mixture, and shredded cheese.
Place it inside the oven and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
